AGIC Preliminary Program – Conference Coming Soon!

The AGIC is coming soon!

We encourage you to attend the 18th Annual Graduate Interdisciplinary Conference (AGIC), to be held Thursday, February 14th, 2013, at Concordia University, in the Faculty Lounge, Hall Building H-765, 1455 de Maisonneuve Blvd. West, Montreal.

This year, we have an international range of papers and presenters on our topic, Brave New World: Traditions and Transitions. Our theme focuses broadly on how identities, boundaries and traditions within cultures change and shift; the transition between the old and the new, and how customs, ethos, social norms and philosophies are defined throughout history, asking how these concepts are found in religions, societies and civilizations. The special interest section, Order and Chaos: The More Things Change… presents papers that deal with humanity’s struggle to define order and chaos: can true change ever occur or is it all really just the same?

Please browse our Conference Programme 2013. It’s going to be a good one!
